A brief description of the metering system:
The University Utility Metering System (UUMS) tracks and records detailed consumption data for electric, gas, and water meters across individual buildings and groups of buildings.
Individual metered building data is provided by the local utility provider. Saint Louis University is in the process of sub-metering more individual buildings in order to collect and analyze data on building clusters. Individually metered buildings include Doisy Research Center, Il Monastero Banquette Center, Litteken Hall (home of Facilities Services), and Beracha Hall (a classroom facility).
