Kimberly Post (faculty, Center for Sustainable Communities) is a faculty consultant for Maine Campus Compact, through which she works with higher education institutions in Maine to support course development and provide faculty training. Additionally, Post and Dr. Greg Teegarden (faculty, Center for Sustainable Communities) are collaborating with Dr. Dan Dixon (UMAINE) and Maine Campus Compact to provide support as all higher education institutions in the state complete asset maps as part of Maine Campuses Won't Wait, an offshoot of Maine's climate action plan Maine Won't Wait.

Kimberly Post (faculty, CSC coordinator, CBL director) has reviewed AASHE sustainability awards submissions for the last 2 years.


A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :

The College is a member of the Greater Portland Council of Governments, which brings the three legs of sustainability (environment, economy and community) into services and planning efforts. Currently the college is collaborating with GPCOG and the town of Standish on resilience planning.
