A brief description of the programs sponsored by the institution to support underrepresented groups:

Safe Zone Awareness Training provided to interested faculty, staff and administrators on a volunteer basis. Participants post signage on their office doors to increase awareness and provide support throughout the campus to the GLBTQ community.

Gay/Straight Alliance formed by students to start in Fall 2014, with the president of that group serving on the Diversity Committee.

Training has been provided regarding Title IX Policy from the Employee Handbook.

Regarding Title IX-Sexual Discrimination, Harassment and Misconduct, Title IX Coordinator and Advisory Committee

In accordance with Title IX regulations, the College has designated a Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator is charged with monitoring on an institution wide basis the College’s compliance with the regulations promulgated under Title IX. In addition, the College has named members of the Title IX Advisory Committee which can be found in Appendix A.
