A brief description of the source of non-potable water and how it is used:
We use unfiltered lake water for the majority of irrigation on upper campus. Irrigation for lower campus is potable. There is very limited potable water use by buildings where required (e.g. running a hose from an outdoor spigot). We do not retain or store graywater produced on campus.
The pottery studio does recycle water from Power Plant cooling water.
