A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

The university owns and operates two 100% electric utility trucks. The choice to use the e-vehicles was made for environmental reasons, as the e-trucks were seen as a way to help reduce the use of fossil fuels. We have since purchased battery operated grounds equipment to replace our gasoline operated equipment and will continue to explore alternate equipment in place of gasoline powered equipment.
