A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
This report includes the entire main campus of Rutgers University. The main campus is 2,716 acres and is bisected by the Raritan River. It has land in six municipalities: New Brunswick, North Brunswick, East Brunswick, Piscataway, Edison, and Highland Park. Administratively, it includes the Rutgers-New Brunswick Chancellor unit as well as the central campus of the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Services Chancellor unit.

Through the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES), Rutgers has a presence in all 21 counties in New Jersey. The physical distribution and diversity of these locations did not allow for their inclusion in this report. However, the Rutgers Gardens and Farms that are located on the New Brunswick campus are included in this submission. Newark and Camden campuses were not included in this report to allow them to submit their own reports in the future.
