Rutgers Office of Institutional Research provided a list of all courses offered during AY 21/22. Courses offered for research, independent study, and inter(extern)ships were removed from the list. Using course descriptions from the online course catalogue and syllabi (when available), the definitions of sustainability-focused and sustainability-inclusive provided in the STARS inventory template were applied.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections

A brief description of how courses with multiple offerings or sections were counted:

Each course offering was included only once regardless of the number of sections. This means that labs and recitations were removed from the course list to avoid double counting.
