A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
A comprehensive orientation is given to all new employees which includes a package about the RRU, its history and the historic park grounds. The information package reiterates the parks ecological importance, preservation and community value to the new employee. Campus tours of the grounds, the gardens and the irrigations dynamics with emphasis on the watershed characteristics are highlighted in the campus tours. Specific details about office composting are explained to the new employees.
