The volume of hazardous waste is reduced by performing pH modifications and autoclaving for biohazards.
A brief description of how the institution safely disposes of hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:
All waste is disposed of in a safe manner to prevent hazardous materials from reaching waterways and/or landfills. Hazardous wastes are collected by a third-party haz-waste company.
