Many staff and faculty participate in flexible work arrangement options, dependent on department needs and teaching/research commitments. Flexible work arrangements may include telecommuting. In addition, the university uses technology where possible to conduct meetings (teleconferencing, videoconferencing, etc.) to minimize transportation demands.
