A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
"Sustainability is an important value at Royal Roads University and you will notice sustainable initiatives in many aspects of your student experience .New Students are exposed to sustainable initiatives. From compostable take-out items at Campus Food Services to advocacy and events from the Office of Sustainability there are many ways to help have a positive environmental impact at RRU" (Royal Roads, 2013).
