A brief description of the certificate program:
In 2009, Royal Roads University launched and Ecological Literacy Certificate (non-credit) that consisted of 8 short modules and 2 electives within competency areas such as: Community Building and Collaboration, Communication and Transdisciplinary Ways of Knowing, Systems Thinking, Social and Environmental Responsibility, Developing a Sense of Place – Beyond Stewardship, Creativity and Art, Design with the Earth in Mind and Cosmology. Royal Roads University also offers an Organic Master Gardener Certificate in concert with Gaia College within Green Learning
