Royal Roads University currently has a diversity and equity committee that is tasked by the administration to advise on and implement policies and programs related to diversity and equity on campus. The charter/mission statement of the committee is stated below: “...the committee will seek to make visible the diversity of the Royal Roads University learning community with the goal of better understanding and improving the experiences of students, faculty, administration, and staff. The committee will promote meaningful opportunities for diversity awareness in educational programming and provide leadership in examining policies, processes, and programming as needed.”
