A brief description of how the physical campus plan or amendment includes sustainability:
Royal Roads University published the Campus Plan in 2006 which includes environmental sustainability and leadership as a fundamental concept guiding future growth on campus. The valuable coastal Douglas-fir forest has been set aside for habitat preservation, management, restoration, education and interpretive pedestrian trail. In the unlikely case of future development within the forests, a stringent environmental assessment will be completed.
