A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
The air quality in all the buildings at Royal Roads University is covered by the standards set by the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers for indoor air quality, specifically standard 62.1-2010. The American National Standards Institute also approves these standards. In addition to these standards, the temperatures within buildings with human occupancy are kept within ranges of 13-22°C. The maintenance program implemented to respond to complaints as well as provide regular maintenance consists of a phone call or email to a work order system, which is then forwarded to the appropriate individuals.
