A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
Roosevelt followed the LEED version 2.2 for New Building Construction. The university received innovation credits for our diversion of construction materials. For our Gold-LEED certified building (Wabash), we diverted 95.5% of our construction materials from the landfill.
