14.1 Percentage of students and employees using more sustainable commuting options

Performance year for commute modal split:
2024

Full-time equivalent student enrollment:
2,965

Full-time equivalent of employees:
715

Has the institution gathered data about student commuting behavior?:
Yes

Percentage of students that use more sustainable commuting options:
---

Description of the methodology used to gather data about student commuting:

The institution has just begun collecting data on college commuting habits, mostly though our partnership with Rethink Your Commute. The app collects data on the different types of commuting methods being used, the number of times those commutes are logged, and the amount of CO2 reduced through these methods. This unfortunately only represents active users of the app however, and usage of the app is not an institutional requirement. Thus, our data is limited to only a pool of 72 users, which does not encompass the habits of our campus as a whole. We hope to run formal surveys and data collection for commuting methods for the 25-26 AY in addition to this data.
