One of the seven college values declared in the RMCAD 2010 Strategic Plan reads as follows:
Respect for the individual, community and the environment.
An objective of the IT Department set out in the RMCAD 2010 Strategic Plan is to; Green IT.
Facilities identified sustainability as a strength in that RMCAD has adopted a Sustainability Initiative, however they also identified it as a weakness in that we could improve and act stronger on the Initiative. This was done in the Facilities SWOT analysis in the RMCAD 2010 Strategic Plan. In addition, the Facilities SWOT Team outlined goals to overcome the weakness and to take advantage of the strength.
Student Services – Student Life identified sustainability as an opportunity in their SWOT analysis and outlined it as follows:
Embrace and publicize environmental sustainability
