Does the institution use frying oil that does not include trans-fats and seek to avoid foods that include trans-fats in its dining operations?:
Yes

A brief description of the trans-fats avoidance program, policy, or practice:

RMCAD is not a large enough campus to have a dining hall, however there is a café and it is the only food service on campus. The café does not have a fryer and per the café operator they “seek to avoid foods that include trans-fats in its dining operations and use no frying oil at all.”

Per the café manager “We strive to avoid trans fats in all of our offerings. Strict and cautious label reading is our best practice.”
