RIT has had a green cleaning program in place since 2006, when the New York State Green Cleaning Law was adopted for K-12 schools. The program includes the purchase of certified green cleaning products, waste reduction strategies, and staff training.
RIT uses Integrated Pest Management on all of its managed grounds.
