Inter-campus workshop on Environmental Justice
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Neha Sood (RIT Sustainability) serves on a Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) working group with colleagues from other NYS institutions as part of the NY Coalition for Sustainability in Higher Education (NYCSHE). As part of this effort, Neha works with Derek Nichols from UB Sustainability to host a workshop that focuses on environmental justice, and integrating JEDI principles into sustainability work. Over 40 professionals from higher education institutions have participated in this workshop to date.
