A brief description of the practice:
we offer a credited course called Experiential Leadership through the Center for Multidisciplinary Studies that allows students to earn academic credit for volunteering over the course of a quarter or during our alternative spring break week – where we take students out of state to do a week long community service project. If students take that course, it shows up on their transcript.
