Rio Salado College provides its employees with a comprehensive wellness program founded on the seven-dimensional wellness model. The college offers employees access to activities, programming, health assessments, and numerous other resources that provide valuable current information to enable employees to make sound personal health and lifestyle changes. Rio’s Wellness Program not only seeks to improve the quality of life for its employees and the surrounding community but also remains committed to supporting and integrating with all facets of the organization to promote health and well-being for all employees. Rio Salado College also participates in the Maricopa Community College Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program is designed to help employees manage life's challenges. The EAP program includes the following services: •Counseling sessions for issues such as managing stress, anxiety, coping with grief and loss, family/relationship issues, and more •Referrals to child and elder care providers •Discounts to legal services •Financial counseling •Identity theft resolution assistance •Daily living services •A comprehensive member Web site
