The employee educators are in high customer focus positions. They have contact with both internal and external customers. They are able to support and promote the importance of sustainability around the College and with external customers.

After completing the training, employees will be knowledgeable regarding the following topics:
1. Define sustainability.
2. Describe the triple bottom line.
3. Create sustainable practices for your work environment.
4. Demonstrate what sustainability means at Rio Salado College.
5. Define human impact.
6. Calculate personal impact to the environment.
7. Develop practices that can be implemented at work and at home to decrease one’s personal environmental impact.
8. List Rio Salado’s sustainable efforts.
9. Identify programs Rio Salado offers or participates in that convey its commitment to sustainable practices.
10. Recognize STARS, its purpose, and its implementation at Rio Salado.

Rio Salado College has assigned a Faculty Chair over the development, implementation and instruction of the work shop. The workshop is entirely online so employees can complete the training at their desk. The training takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Employees complete the training during their scheduled work day.
