The mission of Rio Salado College’s Sustainability Committee is to enhance the lives of students, faculty, staff, and communities by relentlessly improving institutional sustainability and by preparing and encouraging the adoption of policies and practices that strengthen the triple bottom line of sustainability.

Administers the planning, design, and construction of projects for new development, remodeling, college capital, and major maintenance projects for Rio Salado College; prepares and seals planning, design and construction documents as well as formulates plans for sustainability reporting, and initiatives as the college moves toward carbon neutrality.
