Rio Salado College
Tier2-1: Timers for Temperature Control
Architectural Project Manager
Does the institution use timers to regulate temperatures based on occupancy hours in at least one building?:
A brief description of the technology used:
In addition to digital energy management systems in several buildings, Rio Salado uses programmable thermostats is several smaller, remote buildings. Programmable points include temperature, time of day, and day of week. Temperatures are re-set for winter and summer conditions, and are raised or lowered, depending on the season, for night and weekend occupancies.
