Organized and Chaired a workshop session on Teaching Sustainability at the Annual Cumulus Conference held in Nottingham, UK. Attendees came from USA, England, Ireland, South Africa, Columbia, China, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Italy, New Zealand. Also presented a paper at the Conference: Sustainability and overcoming the Great Disconnect.
Conducted at 3-day workshop on Sustainability for the Sustainable Design School in Nice, France, which involved all students at the College.

Ringling is a member of the Science and Environment Council of South West Florida. Ringling’s President is on the Board and the Coordiantor of Environmental Studies is a regular participant in the programs, activities and meetings. SEC is involved in initiating several sustainability projects in the community. SEC has 22 member organizations and 8 affiliate members. These include the major colleges in the area, the State Parks, environmentally focused research entities, city and county government, and not-for-profit organizations focused on the environment, habitat restoration, and conservation.
