A brief description of the themed semester, year, or first-year experience:
Ringling College has a Theme Housing floor targeting, but not limited to sophomore students called “Outdoor Experience.” This group of 40 students participates in team building and group activities that involve engagement in the local environment. There is a service component to this theme housing area, including beach/park/reef clean ups, but most activities involve students participating in outdoor activities including kayaking, camping, and hiking. Part of each activity is a description of and commitment to uphold sustainable practices relevant to the event.
