A brief description of the event(s):
During the 2012-2013 academic year, Resident Assistants produced 20 sustainability related programs. With our new themed communities in 2013-14 these types of programs should increase. Resident Assistants work within the guidelines of a C-A-R-E-S programming model (Collaborative, Awareness, Recreation, Education, Service). Within this model, the Awareness, Education, and Service all have components that encourage programs related to sustainability issues, including outdoors trips, Earth Day Awareness campaigns, and environmental cleanups.
