None
A brief description of the themed housing, including name(s) and descriptions of theme(s):
Ringling College has theme housing geared toward, but not limited exclusively to Sophomore students. Theme housing includes “Green Living,” “Outdoor Experience,” and “Wellness” floors housing a total of 92 students (11% of the campus housing population). While each “theme” has specific subject matter that differentiate from one another, continuity between the themes is via the commitment to sustainability related programming. Students living in theme housing sign a pledge to participate, knowing that this selection involves education on sustainable practices. Staff members include outreach programs throughout the academic year based on themes related to sustainability. There is also a service component to each floor, and students in this theme housing area regularly participate in volunteerism at local community gardens.
