A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
Richland has a six-level Intercultural Competence program for all new employees, who are required to complete two levels per year for the first three years of employment. After completing the initial six-level series, each employee is required to complete at least 3 hours of continuing Intercultural Competence each year.
