A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:

Richland grounds personnel physically remove snow and ice with shovels or grounds equipment for larger areas. Snow and ice that cannot be removed by this method are treated with Zero Ice ice melt, which contains proportions of environmentally safe magnesium chloride and potassium chloride. Once treated snow and ice melts enough to be removed, groundskeepers collect the treated snow and ice and dispose of it safely.
