A brief description of the policies and/or programs:

While Richland does not have a formal policy to reduce the amount of air travel of college employees, the college encourages employees to make use of tele-conferencing in lieu of air travel whenever possible, particularly international travel. The college has conducted several meetings via teleconferencing with international partner colleges: Saratov State University in Russia and the Broader Middle East and North Africa (BMENA) Initiative prototype transfer community college in Qatar.
