Bicycle commuters may use shower facilities and lockers in two locations, the I-wing gym and the Sports Center. Secure bike storage is available under cover, but it is not indoors.

The Office of Residential Life owns 28 bicycles that students can borrow for the semester.

A brief description of the mass transit programs:
Campus shuttle operates whenever classes are in session. Service is free to all. It also links our two remote residential facilities to the campus. Shuttle service to the local train station (Egg Harbor City Transit of NJ service) runs on ALL work days. Students not located on these routes may purchase a monthly bus/rail pass at 25% off the regular price.

90% of employees work on a condensed schedule (4 days) 20% of the year (summer). This policy has been in effect for 30 years. Decreased energy use on Fridays has been documented. Program is mandatory, not optional.

Stockton Affiliated Services, Inc., a non-profit auxiliary organization of the College, owns eight houses available for rental to staff or graduate students. All are located near the campus (less than one mile).

Yes

A brief description of other strategies to reduce the impact of commuting:
Stockton houses up to 200 students at Seaview Resort (owned by the College) six miles from campus and at 90 students at the Chris Gaup facility 2.5 miles from campus. Free shuttle service to these locations is provided. It is safe to assume these students would be further away and would travel by Single Occupancy Vehicle if this housing was not available. The University intends to meet all demand for campus housing.
