During the past five years (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2016), the completed new building projects were the Anderson-Clarke Center for Continuing Studies (LEED-GOLD) and the George R Brown Tennis Center (no certification). Both projects replaced existing facilities.
Rice is a member of the USGBC and strives to construct new buildings and renovate existing buildings as LEED certified buildings. Currently Rice has 11 LEED certified buildings as follows:
