Is the institution a member of the Worker Rights Consortium?:
Is the institution a member of the Fair Labor Association? :
A brief description of the institution’s WRC or FLA membership, including the year membership was last established or renewed:
Rice University's bookstore and merchandise is handled by Follett Higher Education Group, which follows the conduct set by the Fair Labor Association. Follett has been a member of the FLA since 1995, making it the first academic retailer to develop standards for fair labor practices in the manufacture of collegiate products. Follett purchases only from reputable and responsible vendors that meet or exceed their strict Vendor Labor Code of Conduct. Without this certification, Follett Higher Education Group refuses to conduct business with that vendor.
