A brief description of the farmers’ market:
Since 2007, Rice has hosted the Houston Farmers' Market (recently re-branded as the Rice University Farmers' Market) on campus every Tuesday from 3:30 to 7:00pm. With over 30 vendors, a wide variety of items are sold, including local and organic fruits and vegetables, fair trade coffee, local honey, cage-free eggs, humanely produced meat and milk, and an assortment of homemade foods.
