Rice employee satisfaction is evaluated through two surveys: the Houston Business Journal's Best Places to Work in Houston survey and The Chronicle of Higher Education's Best Colleges to Work For survey. The results of these surveys are used to market Rice in recruitment efforts, measure internal employee attitudes for a sense of overall satisfaction, solicit feedback to assess the value added for benefits and actions impacting the workplace environment, and identify areas for growth and development.
