One of the three commitments in Red River College Polytechnic's Strategic Plan 2022-2026, In Front of What's Ahead, is:

Within this commitment, the following key outcomes are listed:
- Progress on all of the TRC Calls to Action that relate to post-secondary education
- Increased partnerships with Indigenous students, businesses and communities
- Increased employee development and engagement opportunities to advance RRC Polytech priorities
- Our students, graduates, staff and committees will reflect the diversity of Manitoba’s population

Manitoba Collaborative Indigenous Education Blueprint: The Manitoba Collaborative Indigenous Education Blueprint (MCIEB) is an initiative that commits to making excellence in Indigenous education a priority in our province. Our goal is to increase access to education for all Indigenous learners from recruitment to retention and to embed Indigenous knowledge and content within early education and onward into post-secondary levels. We will do this through collaborative evaluation, development and implementation of policies, procedures and practices that will advance Indigenous education and reconciliation. Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery (C2R2): C2R2 is a coalition of leading colleges, cégeps, institutes and polytechnics from across Canada. The coalition is working together to support the rapid development and deployment of new curriculum and research initiatives to support resilience in our towns and cities across Canada. A truly resilient recovery is inclusive and equitable. Central to the coalition’s focus is creating inclusive opportunities, supporting equity and continuing to support truth and reconciliation with First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. CICan and C2R2 have formed a special affiliation with a shared commitment to environmental sustainability and resilient recovery. Through shared membership and collaboration, CICan and C2R2 can jointly promote and position the sector as key players in Canada’s resilient economic recovery that will benefit all.
