Yes

A brief description of the diversity, equity, and/or inclusion recognition:

Canada's Best Diversity Employers recognizes employers across Canada that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs. This competition recognizes successful diversity initiatives in a variety of areas, including programs for employees from five groups: (a) women; (b) members of visible minorities; (c) persons with disabilities; (d) Indigenous peoples; and (e) lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual (LGBT) peoples.

Some examples of why we were recognized with this honour include:
- Our latest strategic plan which includes a key commitment placing an emphasis on embedding Truth and Reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion into every aspect of work across all campuses.
- Mandatory training for all staff includes the 4 Seasons Reconciliation, an online modular training program that creates an understanding on the history of colonization in Canada and how it affects current issues and Indigenous peoples today.
- The implementation of a corporate equity, diversity, and inclusion action plan and an established network of Diversity and Culture Champions who raise awareness and encourage engagement on campus.
- Events such as the Immersive Stories Series, which features members of the College community of multi-layered, socio-cultural identities, sharing their experiences and inviting uncomfortable conversations in a safe environment.
- Anti-Racism and Gender and Sexual Diversity Committees who’ve played an integral role in developing training and organizing events to further raise awareness and foster inclusion.
