A brief description of how the figure above was determined:
Our Institutional Analysis and Planning department pulled all program descriptions from the 2020/21 Academic Year. They ran a check to find all course descriptions that included any of the keywords on the list provided on the AASHE website ("Sample keywords to help identify sustainability challenges") to get a preliminary list. We then went through each program in this list to determine whether they required an understanding of the concept of sustainability. Finally, we took all the course labeled as sustainability focused and identified the programs for which they were required.
