A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Our Institutional Analysis and Planning department pulled all course descriptions from the 2020/21 Academic Year. They ran a check to find all course descriptions that included any of the keywords on the list provided on the AASHE website ("Sample keywords to help identify sustainability challenges") to get a preliminary list. We then went through each course in this list, and when needed looked up other information from published course outlines (i.e. course learning outcomes) to determine whether courses were sustainability focused, inclusive, or neither.
