A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The DIVERSITY AND IMMIGRANT STUDENT SUPPORT DEPARMTENT provides cusotmized diversity and intercultural trainings and programs to ensure that the learning environment is inclusive and respectful of diversity and to assist students in develop valuable cross-cultural skills necessary in today’s global work environment.
The LGBTT* INITIATIVE provides educational opportunities and resources to build communication, understanding and respect for diversity throughout the College. The initiative offers coordinates in-class presentations on LGBTT issues and offers the Ally Training to all students.
Allies receive education and training about LGBTT* issues and resources and are expected to support and welcome LGBTT* people.
