The DIVERSITY AND IMMIGRANT STUDENT SUPPORT DEPARTMENT creates a College environment were everyone has the ability to work, learn and access services in a safe, inclusive and welcoming manner. The goal is to foster a climate that where people of all backgrouds, abilites and orienations can thrive.

A brief description of the diversity coordinator's position:
The Manager of the Diversity and Immigrant Student Support provides leadership, direction and management of departmental programs and services that create an inclusive and respectful learning environment, enhances the inclusion and success of diverse student populations and fosters the development of inter-cultural understanding, knowledge and skills for all members of the College community. As part of the Student Support Services leadership team and College-wide committees, the Manager plays a key role in promoting policies, practices and strategies related to diversity and inclusion in the broader organization.
