A brief description of the program or practice:
Three of the College's five gardens contain drought-resistant, native plants. As such, these gardens don't require irrigation or fertilization.
A few native plants currently on the grounds include:
• Three Flowered Avens (Geum trifolum)
• Purple Prairie Clover (Dalea purpurea)
• Saskatoon (Amelanchier alnifolia)
• Red Osier Dogwood (Cornus stolonifera)
• Indigo Bush (Amorpha fruiticosa)
