60% of the College's perennial gardens are comprised of native plants, including:
• Three Flowered Avens (Geum trifolum)
• Purple Prairie Clover (Dalea purpurea)
• Saskatoon (Amelanchier alnifolia)
• Red Osier Dogwood (Cornus stolonifera)
• Indigo Bush (Amorpha fruiticosa)
These plants don't require irrigation, fertilization and require minimal pruning.
