A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:

RRC has a number of practices in place to ensure a quality indoor environment.

A Work Order system allows building occupants to register indoor air quality concerns and prompts appropriate action by College staff and building owners.

CO2 monitoring sensors are located in the Roblin Centre and in new construction projects at the Notre Dame Campus. As the occupancy increases, DDC/HVAC systems introduce more outside air.

Filtrations systems are operated under a preventative maintenance program to ensure the highest quality and efficiency of the air quality.

The Joint Workplace Safety and Health Committee runs an education campaign to promote a scent free environment. The scent free program at RRC is currently voluntary, although in some cases if there is a sensitivity or problem, the supervisor might, with input from Environmental Health and Safety office, intervene with an employee.

College offices may voluntary declare their spaces to be scent-free.
