The Sustainability Office first looked at various STARS institutions to see what kinds of questions were administered. Draft questions were then developed and reviewed with the Research and Planning department.

Sustainability literacy questions were administered as part of a broader College 'Student Experience Survey'. The College's Research and Planning department applied random sampling methodology and administered the online survey to students during the Fall and Winter terms.
