Full-time students are eligible for a 25% discount on monthly passes from NJ Transit (bus and rail).

This is offered through our local transportation management association, RideWise.

RVCC has three carpool-only parking spaces for registered carpools.
RVCC is piloting a student-only rideshare program.
Vanpool subsidies are available through the Somerset County RideWise program. Vanpools are eligible for a one-time start-up subsidy, up to $500. Vanpools are eligible for a RideWise temporary subsidy ($80 per seat) to help cover the cost of seats that lose passengers. Vanpools can receive $175 per month from NJ TRANSIT towards leasing costs.

RVCC offers pretax payroll deductions for employee commuting cost (transit, vanpool). Preferred parking is offered for electric (West building) and low-emissions vehicles (Workforce building).
