Leadership Development in Women - Women face unique challenges in the workplace
but they also add unique value and perspective.
They improve communications dynamics, and
reinvigorate companies in ways that make them
more competitive. Research shows companies

This interactive session will enhance women’s
leadership behaviors. Participants build
awareness of decision-making biases, learn
how to create high-performing teams, negotiate
win-win outcomes, manage crises, drive
innovation, and create an authentic leadership
style. Participants leave with new ideas, skills,
confidence, and fresh perspectives to add more
value to their organization.
How to Develop an Effective Holistic
Business

Launching any small business is difficult but
a holistic business faces additional unique
challenges. Learn how to educate and attract
clients for your unique services and build a
practice that sustains. Develop an effective
strategic plan, market on a small budget,
and learn time management techniques. This
class addresses issues for the pre-venture or
in-business practitioner.
ESL - 7 courses - Basic ESL, Levels 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b,Pronunciation and Accent Reduction, and Discussion and Presentation 1.
The following classes are offered in our HVAC/R TECHNICIAN AND INSTALLER certificate program.
ECTC 101 - Refrigeration I - An emphasis is given to developing the necessary skills for efficient troubleshooting, maintenance and service procedures that would optimize system performance with the objective of maximizing energy efficiency as per equipment manufacturer recommendations.
ECTC 102 - Air Conditioning Systems Design - Students are trained throughout the semester in proper sizing techniques for system performance optimization and energy conservation.
ENVI 103 - Energy and the Environment - This course provides a broad introduction to energy and energy issues as they relate to generation options, utilization and environmental impacts.
ECTC 202 - Heating Systems Design - Particular attention is given to understanding the inherent system inefficiencies that occur due to either over-or under-sizing system components and their negative impact on energy consumption and equipment life expectancy. Students are trained throughout the semester in proper sizing techniques for system performance optimization and energy conservation.
ECTC 206 - Residential HVAC/R Controls and Instrumentation - A particular focus throughout this course is towards optimization of control logic for the purpose of energy conservation, via techniques such as thermostat programming, outdoor setback, staging and modulation of equipment components.

Energy conservation and efficiency is a major focus of our HVAC/R TECHNICIAN AND INSTALLER certificate program. It was created in 2017.
Certificate - HVAC/R TECHNICIAN AND INSTALLER - This 2-semester program prepares you for an entry-level position as an HVAC/R technician and installer of residential equipment in the air conditioning, refrigeration and heating industries. You’ll be trained to work for an established company or even start your own HVAC/R business. The program combines academic classwork in thermodynamic theory, system design, mechanical, and control training with practical labs that focus on real-world troubleshooting.
